LIAM had a dental and 14 teeth (!) were extracted.
He needs painkillers for 5 days and antibiotics for 7 days.
Fingers crossed that we can give him the medication as we can't even touch him (although he's been with us for 7 years).

The good news is that DUKE started eating by himself again! He still needs antibiotics for a few days more but is doing very well!

DUKE
11 years ago I was bottle feeding him (together with his 3 brothers and 2 sisters) as mentioned before.
Today, after 11 years, I'm feeding him baby food again as he can't eat properly after his dental but mummy is taking care of him.
And he likes it! 😻

DUKE had a dental today.
His teeth were very bad and 9 had to be extracted.... poor boy!
He needs painkillers for 4 days and antibiotics for 10 days.
At this time he isn't happy as he doesn't like to stay inside (he only likes to be in the garden) but after this operation we don't want to let him out so he's stuck behind the door....
Hopefully he'll feel better soon!

For who doesn't know...
He's one of the six little gingers who's mother was killed by a car in September 2012.
I had a phone call on a Saturday morning and the lady told me that a mother cat was killed and that the kittens were still there in a field. I asked: "How many?" and she replied: "I think there are two".
I went to pick them up and to my big surprise there weren't two but SIX! All identical!
I had to bottle feed them and this was one of my most difficult times... They all looked the same and when I was ready feeding and taking care of them it was almost time for the next feed! Several weeks of no sleep!
Four of them found a home (in pairs) and two of them stayed with us (Boomer and Duke). After 6 months two of them (Rudy and Pinky) came back to us because their human parents separated.

Two females from a colony were neutered.
They'll stay in our recovery for 8 days, having painkillers for 3 days and antibiotics for 7 days.
They are not happy! Two little terrors!

Today we had an appointment for a dental for TOYA.
Two months ago we were told that she had gingivitis and needed a dental later but after a lot of care, with antibiotics, painkillers, pro biotics, Oxyfresh (a water additive) and again 5 days of antibiotics before today, we were rewarded today because she didn't need a dental!!😊
She still had a bit of inflammation for which she had a steroid injection but she's doing VERY well!
