Kikka was eating and could go home!
She needs antibiotics for 5 days and hopefully she'll be fine after finishing the course!

Kikka had a blood transfusion today. Her donor was one of the cats of our vet.

We've had some very difficult weeks.
We're catching and neutering in colonies: TNR (Trap, Neuter, Return) but we failed to return as we kept 8 kittens from colonies.

We're catching and neutering in colonies: TNR (Trap, Neuter, Return) but we failed to return as we kept 8 kittens from colonies.
Today we took Kikka and Kola to the vet and both of them had to stay in the clinic.
KIKKA came bad all of a sudden, she wasn't eating since last Friday (Christmas Day) so we kept her isolated and were offering her all kinds of food but she looked bad and didn't eat anything.
Blood tests were done today and at least she's FIV/FeLV negative and her liver is also ok but she has a kind of virus which attacked her tongue and throat, her tongue was already half dead...
She's young, 3.5 years old, so the vets are doing everything to save her.
KOLA was found in a colony 5 months ago with a collar trapped under her forearm and the wound never recovered.
We've tried everything but nothing worked.
So now she's at the vet and after she recovers from the infection, she'll be operated to replace the skin.

KIZZY aka KISS KISS was caught in one of our colonies on the 7th December 2020.
9th December 2020 she was neutered and, as we always do, in one of our recovery cages for 7 days.
Our aim was to release her in the colony after 7 days but she melted Charlie's heart (again...he's such a softie...) and he called her KISS KISS because she was kissing him all the time.
No need to say that we decided to keep her here also....
At this time she's in one of our recovery rooms but she's hiding and we don't want to stress her so unfortunately there's no picture yet but hopefully soon.
