And IVY is inside the house also!
For now in a cage, to get used to her new environment, but soon she'll be running and playing in the house! 😁

LIAM is doing very well!
It took some time to recover from what he went through, 14 teeth were extracted (!) but he's happy and relaxed now!

MIA adapted herself very quickly to her new environment!
She's running and playing around as if she's always been here!
And that's how we like to see them!😻

Whoops... we did it again..... (we know we're softies)
We can't put this super friendly kitten back in her colony so we took her inside our house.
We named her MIA.

2nd October 2023
A male and a female from colonies were neutered.
Usually we keep a male for 2 days in our recovery but this one had a testicle inside his abdomen (Cryptorchidism) so the abdomen had to be opened to remove it. He needs recovery like a female so he'll stay for at least 5 days with antibiotics.
The female is soooo friendly and cute! It will break our hearts if we have to put her back in the colony....

LIAM had 14 teeth removed last Friday and of course he was very upset. We kept him by himself in our sitting room, where he usually stays a lot (together with other cats), but he wasn't happy and because we can't touch him it was very difficult to give him his medication so we decided this morning to put up a cage in the sitting room.
We are a cage free sanctuary, in fact we HATE cages and use them only for stray cats recovery but sometimes we have to do it for the cats in our care to make sure they eat and have their medication.
To our surprise, after we just set up the cage in the sitting room, LIAM went into it straight away!
He seems more relaxed and ate everything we gave him today, even the food with painkiller and antibiotics in it so we made the right decision.
Fingers crossed that he'll recover soon!
