Our DAVY has his 16th birthday today!
He was my first bottle-fed baby and I didn't know what I know now so unfortunately I could only save one of his eyes.
But he's still going strong!

A female from one of our colonies was neutered.
She will be the last for the coming months as at this time there are a lot of pregnant cats and we don't want to take the risk to catch a pregnant one. We'll NEVER neuter a pregnant cat (and kill her babies)!

The female who we neutered last week is soooo friendly! Although we're really full up, after a lot of talking, we decided to keep her here as we can't put her back in her colony (yes, we know that we're softies...)
We don't have a name for her yet so any suggestions are welcome!

Two males were caught in a colony and neutered.
They were the most vicious cats we ever had in our recovery! The pictures speak for themselves!

GREGORY (who was found abandoned in a colony two years ago) was again all matted and full of knots. Last year a groomer came to the sanctuary to groom him but that wasn't the most happy experience as Gregory hates to be touched (not even with a brush) so he was screaming a lot and it was very traumatic for him. And also for me....!
So this time we made an appointment with a groomer at the vet clinic where he was sedated.
For sure this was better for him (and for us) but he problem is that he can't be sedated over and over again...
At least he's a happy boy at the moment!

We received several reports about a cat in a colony in Mellieha who was in a terrible state. He was very difficult to catch but finally he was caught and we took him to the vet.
We didn't have high hopes and feared the worst. He was examined by two vets and both came to the conclusion that he had a tumor in his head and nothing could be done for him so we had to take the decision to put him to sleep so he wouldn't suffer anymore.
