Katy wasn't feeling well these last weeks.We took her to the vet two weeks ago and she had some injections and has been on antibiotics for 10 days.
She became a bit better but today we took her again as she was still not eating much and vomiting from time to time.
An X-ray was already taken two weeks ago (nothing wrong could be found) and today she had a blood test. At least the result was negative for FIV/FeLV and her kidneys and liver are fine but we'll have to wait until Friday for more results.

Ninu was coughing so we took him also to the vet today.
He had fever (39.8!) so he had an injection and will be on antibiotics for the coming week.
He's still very playful and is eating a lot so hopefully he will be better soon!
We're still calling him "he" but today we found out that he's a SHE!
So her name will be Nina Junior from today....

Furthermore we are working very hard to make our new shelter cat paradise!
We've moved 50 cats until now and are trying to catch the last ones but they are giving us a hard time as they know what's going on but they don't know that they're going to the very best place!
At least they are quite safe where they are now and of course we're feeding them but hopefully we'll catch some more in the coming weeks.

Besides the cats in our shelter we're feeding another 80 cats in colonies every day.

We’ve had a VERY hard year.
In May 2015 we bought a plot of land where we could give our cats a better life as there’s a lot of space.
We've been working on this till now and a few weeks ago we've started moving all the cats.
Please note this is all our PRIVATE money and NO money of the Animal Care Malta funds was used, we don’t even HAVE the money in our Animal Care Malta account, we don’t even manage to feed the cats from this account….
We’ve built a cathouse where all the rescued cats can happily live together, safe and cosy.
They have a lot of land which is far from ready but in the coming months we’ll work hard to make it CAT PARADISE!
