We found out that it’s not possible to take a pet to the UK in the cabin and when we asked Air Malta for a quotation to send her as cargo, the quote came to € 323.26!
This price is ridiculous and together with the UK lady who wanted to adopt her, we decided to find a good home for Leona in Malta; not only because of the price but also because we don’t like to send a cat on his/her own as this could be very upsetting…

She recovered completely and is waiting to go to the UK by the end of October 2013!

The lady from the UK told us that she wanted to adopt the kitten and she named her Leona!
She's gonna pay for all the required vaccinations, passport, etc. etc.
Leona is a lucky girl!

We received a report from a tourist who was staying in a hotel in the north of Malta and she asked us if we could help a kitten who was living in a colony near the hotel because she looked sick.
We've picked up this kitten on the 8th August 2013 and gave her medical attention; she had a bad eye-infection and had cat-flu.
