We took Alex to the vet because we thought something was broken or damaged but the vet told us that he had high fever (40.5) and maybe an infectious disease. He got a vitamine-injection, antibiotics and painkillers. |

We took in a kitten who was found under a car in Mosta. It's unbelievable that he survived! |

We took in 2 kittens who were found in a dangerous situation. They are very feral but hopefully they'll come friendly soon so we can find them a good home. |

We're very busy taking care of the kittens. At least these two recovered completey and are very healthy and adorable! They are eating by themselves now but still like a bottle, especially Gussy, the ginger, likes to remain a baby! They are so lovely and we wish we could keep them here. Only when we find a VERY good (perfect!) home for them, we'll let them go... |

Filomena, who we found skin and bones a couple of weeks ago, is doing well and we're trying to introduce her in the catgarden. She's old, so most probably we can't home her and she'll stay her forever... |

We caught a very small kitten with infected eyes. He doesn't want to drink so we're force-feeding him, which is horrible but the only way to make him survive.... |

It has been a very upsetting week...
Nala's eye got worse and worse (no pictures because it was too shocking) and on Thursday 8th May the vets decided that her eye had to be removed. She was in terrible pain and although we were told that her chance to survive the operation was not too much, we decided to operate her and give her a chance; the only other option was to put her to sleep.
After the operation she looked fine at first but in the evening she passed away.
No need to say how sad we were....

Her brothers are missing her also a lot but at least they're doing very well.

We're introducing Filomena into the catgarden.
She's recovering well but she's old (approx. 12 years) and very difficult to home. She's so sweet and will stay with us forever... |

At this time it's difficult to catch and neuter because most females are pregnant or nursing but two males were caught and neutered.
