Mid November 2012 this little kitten was found in Naxxar.
The people who found him took him home but their other two adult cats didn't accept him and he ended up outside.
On the 11th December 2012 one of our members found him in the middle of the street during the night and she picked him up and took him to her home.
We decided to find a very good and safe indoor-home for him.

15th December 2012
We are very happy that a lovely family in Tarxien adopted him!
31st December 2012
We were told that his new family named him Mr. Jingles, as he was adopted in December.
15th January 2013
The family who adopted him called us that they didn't want him anymore so we went to pick him up.
He looked very stressed but that's no wonder after everything he experienced!
At least he's still very sweet and we'll do everything to find him a FOREVER home!
17th January 2013
Django (as we named him now) was examined by the vet and he's completely healthy but has some spores of a fungal infection. He has medicines and we'll keep him isolated for a week as by that time -according to the vet- he won't be contagious anymore.

Django was adopted by the most lovely parents he could ever dream of!
They named him Banjo.
Thank you so much Melanie and John!

Exactly 10 years ago (6th February 2013) BANJO was adopted from us by a lovely English couple Melanie and John, it was love at first sight!
We always keep in touch with the people who adopted from us and a couple of months ago we were informed that they were going to move back to the UK and (of course) they were going to take Banjo with them but because of Brexit they couldn't take him with them on the same flight and we were asked if we could take care of him until he was leaving. Of course we did!
So Banjo spent the weekend in our care and early this morning at 5.15 am he was picked up by the driver of Thomas Smith Shipping (with a van of Wags & Whiskers PET Transport Service Malta).
It was a nerve-wrecking day (for his owners AND us!) as our mind wouldn't be at rest until he arrived safely at his new home in the UK!
Late afternoon we finally got the news that he arrived safely!
Thank you Melanie and John for taking such good care of your baby!
