On the 12th August a female was found in a colony. She was too friendly to be a stray cat and was brought to us.
She was neutered, deflead, dewormed and microchipped on the 16th August and of course we kept her for recovery with a course of antibiotics for 7 days.
Although we're completely full up, we just couldn't put her back in the colony as she's so friendly and for sure she used to be a home cat; unfortunately there are a lot of heartless people in Malta who abandon their cat(s) when they're not wanted anymore. It's really heart breaking....
But... she's safe now and joined our big cat family 🧡

The rash on the chin of COPPER DEWDROP has finally healed (almost) completely!
He had antibiotics for 7 days and has been wearing a (self-made) collar for 4 weeks; he's still wearing it as he's very comfortable with it (it's a cut sleeve from a T-shirt) and he can't scratch it anymore.

GREGORY had a cool summer hair cut!

GREGORY was seen for the first time in a colony we feed in April 2021.
He looked like being abandoned and we've been trying to catch him but he never came close enough...

But finally, in February 2022 we managed to catch him!
We took him to the vet where he was checked, neutered, deflead, dewormed, microchipped and 2 teeth were extracted.
According to the vet he was about 4-5 years old.
Most probably he was abandoned because he's doing his business 💩on the floor, we don't mind, we just clean it 😉
